MSBKN has been empowering women's leadership through its Rural Women Leadership Program. Thus far, it has facilitated grant disbursement and provided entrepreneurship skills development at the district level. Over 300 women have formally registered their businesses as a result. However, as women entrepreneurs enhance their leadership, there's a recognized gap in financial and digital literacy. With technology playing a crucial role in economic development, there's a need to bridge this gap by focusing on digitization, QR payments, online product sales, and overall business strengthening. MSBKN aims to address this by integrating digitization activities to help women grow their businesses effectively.
Two days financial and digital literacy training was organized in Rupandehi & Kapilvastu in collaboration with Shine Resunga Development Bank & Fonepay; Dadeldhura in collaboration with Khalti; Lalitpur in collaboration with Siddhartha Bank & Fonepay; Dhulikhel in collaboration with Prabhu Bank and Khalti, Tanahu in collaboration with Prime Bank and Fonepay and Panchthar in collaboration with Khalti.
